2009 Popcorn Kick-Off

The Three Fires Council Popcorn Sale is just around the corner. Make your plans now to attend the kick-off on Saturday, August 15th at Enchanted Castle in Lombard. Continue to check the Council website for more popcorn information over the summer. Please sign up with Karen Hamilton so we have your unit's popcorn kernel contact information to make sure you get the latest information.
Every unit must have at least one representative attend the 2009 Popcorn Kickoff or one of the makeup sessions to get all of the details for your 2009 sale. (Please check our website for the dates, times and locations of the makeup sessions). We want to make sure you have all of the resources and tools to fund your program and fulfill the dreams of your Scouts!
We will show you the product line-up that includes an exciting new product along with sales methods and ways to grow your sale. We will discuss unit kickoffs, blitz days, unit incentives, and all of the important dates you will need. We will also spend some time on how to place your order and how much popcorn to order for your sale.
Finally, you will have a chance to meet your District Kernels for the first time, along with other members of the Popcorn Team. You will walk out of the Kickoff with your order forms and all of the resources you will need to have the best sale ever!

Enchanted Castle does offer entertainment for the whole family. So if you would like to bring the family they can enjoy themselves while you sit in on the meeting. We will not be able to supervise the kids. You must bring another adult to watch the kids. We will get the kids and Scouts started with 4 tokens for games. Please let us know how many kids will be coming with you when you RSVP.
